This website is for employers and young people who would like to find out more about Learning Agreements. We want you to sign up for a Learning Agreement and get a taste for training!

Learning Agreements is a new idea, supported by Business Link Devon and Cornwall. This is a pilot initiative and is only available until March 2008.

With their employer's support, a young person can select any course from one of our approved suppliers. Typically, these are short courses and lead to a nationally recognised qualification. Through Learning Agreements, young people have an opportunity to gain new skills, a qualification and £250. The employer benefits from increased skills levels at work, and can also qualify for £250 - eligibility criteria apply.

To qualify, the employee must be 16 - 17 year old and be living in Devon or Cornwall. The employee must be working for at least 16 hours per week and not be doing a recognised training programme already ie one that leads to a qualification.
